Gladstone Touch Football - Junior Representative
Gladstone junior touch select Representative sides each year in all age divisions in both boys and girls from under 10 to under 16 to attend 4 representative carnivals a year. The first carnival we attend is the Bundaberg cup normally held in February at the Bundaberg touch association. In late March early May we attend the CQ Championships where our teams trail for selection in the Central Queensland bulls teams, this carnival normally rotates between Rockhampton, Gladstone and Bundaberg. The Gladstone Cup is held in June is run by the Gladstone touch association, at the home of Gladstone touch Briffney Creek.
Then teams from all over Queensland converge on Hervey Bay for the Junior state cup, which is generally held the last week of the June/July school holidays in early July. This carnival is a 3 day action packed touch football competition that brings together more than 2600 participants from over 230 affiliate teams from across Queensland.
